How to get back on track and win again

Start winning today

“You can start over. You don't need permission. You don't need to wait for the right time.” — Dan Koe

Months ago, I quit X. I needed time to think about my real direction and vision.

I started on X with a different vision at that time.

I wanted to be a video editor and make a quick buck, but everything changed when I met 2 people.

Peter Zhang and Sean Canela.

Peter, unfortunately, quit X, and Sean is now a big creator on X.

They helped me develop my vision and niche, and I found myself in the writing/ branding niche.

I didn't know much about writing, so I focused on systems and templates. In 4 months gained 600 followers and monetized my first bucks with my brand.

Everything happened so fast and of course, I had to evolve my offers, products, and stuff like that.

And I started questioning myself if I was on the right path.

I couldn't find clear answers, so I decided to take a break on X.(I almost quit)

From November/ to December I decided that I wanted to try again, it was hard,

I couldn't write posts,

I couldn't be productive,

I couldn't be consistent

and the worst part, I wasn't getting my usual results on X.

I had no momentum, and I was thinking, X isn't for me again.

until I developed my momentum flow process. Now, my posts are skyrocketing, and I'm getting the attention I'm supposed to.

This is for you if you have had a similar situation o

or a situation in which you have traveled,

or had some emergency, and you stopped consistently building your brand or business.

If you do not fit in these criteria, this post isn't for you.

If you want to get back on track, you should understand that momentum isn't linear.

More ideas lead to more exponential results

Nothing happens, and then everything happens

That's how you should see things about when getting into this process.

I'll give you a framework that you'll develop according to yourself.

These are the 3 steps I followed to get back on track and have my brand & business grow again:

1: Momentum flow

If you want to get back on track, you need to have better ideas in your mind.

To get more ideas, you need a lifestyle that leads to momentum flow.

Use your brain in the morning to build the life you want.

Fill your brain in afternoons with books, learning, and socials.

Empty your brains before bed with journaling, planning, and meditation.

I started to get more excited on X Twitter because I had more ideas to talk, post, and research about.

I had a daily routine that didn't feel like work, but a way to learn about life and get paid for it.

That's what you should aim for and do, develop 4 habits:

Unwind, Consume, Connect and Create

Unwind → Your mind so you can be stress-free and open to ideas

Consume → Long and short-form content, so you can develop your ideas & philosophies

Connect → Ideas so you can develop your own path and worldview

Create → So you can test these ideas, see what works or not, and get paid for it.

The daily routine that you will need will be based on how much time you have:

Here's an example of mine:

→Wake up

→2(hr)Build (Newsletter, Lead Magnets, Tweets…)

→College

→Cook, clean the house…

→Gym

→ (Learn/low-intensity work)

→ Socialize

→Unwind

→Sleep

You'll build your momentum flow according to your daily routine, on how much time you have.

There's no right way of doing this, so don't try to follow my order, you have to find the way that works better for you.

2: The Rule of 1

“Think of your mind as a supercomputer

The more RAM you use up

With different programs running open

browser tabs, and the performance,

requirements of what you have running, the slower your performance will be.”

The way you use RAM right now isn't the way that's optimized for your creation.

The rule of 1 is simple one step at a time,

so your mind can process information, adapt to your new lifestyle, and develop accordingly.

When I started on X, I had a lot of tasks to do, and I tried to do them all at once.

The results?

I got overwhelmed, I burned out in 4 days or less, and I started to blame myself that, maybe, I was not that good at X.

But then, I started to develop a different approach to it again, what I call the rule of 1:

It has 2 meanings

1: 1-step till another

1: 1 focus til you expand

I focused on too many things, Threads, Newsletters, posts, Lead magnets, build products…

At the time, I was starting out, and I wanted to develop my writing, but all of these tasks made me lost.

1 Focus till you expand →

Instead of trying to do all of that, I said to myself, my focus right now, is to get back on track.

Engaging, Newsletters, and posts are a priority.

I did that and boom, my account started to grow.

Then I expanded to build products, lead magnets,

Then I'm starting to promote DMS.

I focused on one thing till I expanded and one step to another.

and that's what you should focus on right now:

1 - Brainstorm your tasks

2 - Choose the most important ones

3 - Focus on 1 till you expand

3 - Avoiding losing Momentum

In the first step, I said:

"To get more ideas, you need a lifestyle that leads to momentum flow."

The worst mistake you can make, at this point, isn't failing one task or another.

But losing momentum.

Once you start building or in the process of building you can't stop.

You can't stop

Unwinding

Consuming

Connecting

Creating

Know this is a process of your life, and if possible, build systems so you can't stop:

Wake up earlier if you have to

Schedule yours posts

Use apps

Avoid places

do it late

but don't stop doing it, once you lose your momentum, you lose everything.

Keep at the flow daily and don't dare to lose.

Tying it all together:

To build momentum and get back on track as fast as possible, you don't need to stress a lot.

You need to make it enjoyable so it doesn't; feel like working.

1: Build a momentum flow lifestyle.

Unwind, Consume, Connect and Create

2–1 Focus till you expand → Get the habit of evolving in your tasks, as you get better at doing them. Don't overwhelm yourself, take it step by step.

3: Avoid losing momentum → Even if it's for 5 min or less. Don't stop doing it, keep working on it, and don't dare to lose that momentum.

I hope with all these steps you reach a new peak level in your journey, see you in the next newsletter.
